South Thanet is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK parliament since 2015 by Craig Mackinlay MP, a Conservative. Craig Mackinlay has been re-elected as the MP for Thanet South, with an increased majority. The Conservative candidate beat Labour's Rebecca Gordon-Nesbitt.
